BEGINNER MENTORSHIP

About the MENTORSHIP
Discover Your Creative Potential
Learn the art, build the business, become the photographer.
A full‑day, in‑person mentorship experience with Chrystal Rose & Nicci K.
This is not a surface‑level workshop. It’s a grounded, immersive day designed to give you the actual foundations you need to start your photography business with confidence, clarity, and direction.
Is it for you?
This isn’t about buying a camera and hoping for the best
This day is for you if:
You’re brand new or in the very early stages of photography
You want to start a photography business but don’t know where to begin
You learn best in person, with guidance and support
You want real foundations, not shortcuts
You value connection, depth, and learning properly
If you’ve been feeling the pull toward photography but don’t know where to start… If you’re overwhelmed by settings, editing, pricing, or the idea of putting yourself out there… If you know there’s more for you creatively, but you’re craving structure, guidance, and support…
This day was created for you.
Beginner Mentorship is a 9‑hour, full‑day experience where we bring everything together, the technical, the creative, and the business side, so you leave knowing exactly how to move forward.
Not guessing. Not piecing things together from YouTube. Not feeling behind.
But grounded. Clear. Equipped.

How to move, see light, and compose intentionally
How to stay present while shooting
How to apply what you learned in the first session

Editing is where many beginners get stuck.
In this session, we’ll teach you:

A clean, efficient Lightroom workflow
How to edit consistently
How to create images that feel cohesive and true to your style
No over‑editing. No trends you’ll grow out of. Just solid foundations.

What actually matters when starting out
How to begin showing up and booking clients

FAQ
Do I need any experience to attend?
No. This mentorship is designed specifically for beginners. You don’t need a portfolio, paid clients, or prior experience. If you’re new, curious, or right at the start, you’re in the right place.
Who is this mentorship designed for?
Beginner Mentorship is for photographers who are:
Brand new
Self-taught and unsure of their foundations
Ready to move from hobby to business but don’t know how
If you already have a fully booked business, this won’t be the right fit. This is about learning things properly from the start.
Will there be live photo sessions with models or just demos?
This is a hands-on day. You will actively shoot, practice, ask questions, and be guided in real time. This is mentorship, not a lecture.
What gear should I bring?
You don’t need anything fancy.
Please bring:
A camera (DSLR or mirrorless)
At least one lens (a 35mm or 50mm is perfect, but anything you own is fine)
A fully charged battery (and a spare if you have one)
Memory cards
A laptop for the Lightroom and editing session
Your camera charger
If you don’t have all of this yet, or you’re unsure what you own is suitable, that’s okay. Bring what you have. This mentorship is about learning how to use your gear properly, not buying more gear.
